How to get a stalled promotion?
Question:
My husband is an officer in a bank. His promotion has been stalled for the past eight years. Apparently, all the staff and officers praise his work, but internally, we don’t know what’s going on. Every year, despite assurances of his promotion, he remains where he is, while his juniors have moved up the ladder.
Now my husband has become very disheartened. He talks about his situation all the time and is always sad.
Answer:
After the Fajr prayer, recite the Surah As-Saff (61) verse 13
وَاُخْرٰى تُحِبُّوْنَـهَا ۖ نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللّـٰهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيْبٌ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
[Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrun mina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshiri almu/mineena]
101 times: Then recite Durood Sharif eleven times in the beginning and end and pray for protection from the evil of jealous and opposing people.
After the Isha prayer, recite Ayatul Kursi 41 times and Durood Sharif eleven times, and pray for blessings, prosperity, and progress. Continue this practice for at least 90 days.
Both you and your husband should frequently recite the names of Allah or the (یاحفیظ یاسلام) Ya Hafeezu Ya Salam, whether in a state of ablution or not.
If possible, give charity, and at least every Thursday, feed at least three deserving individuals
